Hanna Hammond, CPA, MBA

Owner

Hanna began her career in public accounting in 2014. After working in public accounting at two other CPA firms she decided to branch out on her own after being approached by several friends who had asked her to take them on as clients. Now she enjoys continuing to serve small businesses, nonprofits, and individuals. She is passionate about using her skills as a CPA to help others grow their business or organization and better understand their individual tax situations. Hanna graduated with B.B.A. in Accounting and an MBA from Mississippi College. Outside of work, Hanna can be found going on walks with her family, exploring local parks with her two daughters, and trying new restaurants with her husband and friends. She loves to travel internationally and has been to South Korea, China, Indonesia, India, and Haiti.

Julie Shen

Accountant

Julie began working in 2015 at a public accounting firm. She continued working in internal accounting, administrative, and bookkeeping roles in various industries, including fuel wholesale, retail, and insurance services. Her specialization was in taxation and she is glad to serve clients in the roles in which she is best equipped. Julie graduated from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign with her B.S. and M.S. in Accounting. Her hobbies include reading, writing, walking, swimming, pickleball, and baking. She is also part of a local Toastmasters group. She is an Illinois native, but has also lived in Wisconsin.

Xue (Ruth) Jiang, LLM

Accounting Assistant

Ruth has over 10 years of experience working in China at a law firm and as a professor as a certified PRC attorney. Since moving to America she has worked in tax law and now enjoys using her skills to serve clients by assisting them with any financial and accounting needs. She graduated with her LL.M. in Financial Service Law at Chicago-Kent College of Law. In Ruth’s free time you will find her exploring nature, going on family bike rides, having a BBQ with her friends or camping. She also enjoys reading, traveling, cooking, and watching movies.

Erin Ericksen

Accounting Intern

Erin is majoring in accounting at the University of North Dakota, where she plans to complete both her Bachelor of Accountancy and Master of Accountancy degrees. She is also preparing to obtain her Certified Public Accountant license for the state of Minnesota. When she is not occupied with college or work, Erin enjoys reading, playing the piano, snowmobiling, working with animals, and experimenting with fiber arts.
